PRACTICE SCHEDULE Practice Ice Update!9/27/07 If you pre-ordered practice ice, you may review your assignments on-line. If you wish to make changes to your practice ice assignments, we will accommodate such requests on a first come, first served basis, to the extent possible. For planning purposes, you can review current availability and fullness of practice ice sessions on the practice ice assignment page. Availability and fullness will fluctuate. If you did not pre-order practice ice by the extended deadline of September 10, 2007, or you want to purchase additional practice ice, you may do so on-site beginning October 1, 2007. The Practice Ice Desk will open at 6 am on October 1, 2007. You must present a check or cash to pay for practice ice. Credit or debit cards will not be accepted. The North Rink is the competition surface for all IJS events which start on Tuesday, October 2, 2007 at noon. Competitors can play their music one time per day on the South Rink practice ice sessions only, with the exclusion of non-qualifying competition practice ice and championship round practice ice. Please click here for event and practice ice schedule information >> Practice Ice UpdatePractice ice will begin on Monday, Oct. 1, 2007. Practice ice will be available on the competition surfaces, north and south rinks, at Iceland Sports Complex. Practice ice will be sold in 30 minute increments. All qualifying events will be held on the North Rink. As a result, the North Rink will be utilized for practice ice for all qualifying event levels throughout the day on Monday, October 1, and at various times throughout the week based upon availability. The Non-Qualifying Competition will take place on the second ice surface, the South Rink. The South Rink will be utilized for practice ice throughout Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday and at various times throughout Friday and Saturday as to not conflict with the non-qualifying events. Practice Ice on the North Rink can only be guaranteed for Monday, October 1st and is available on a first come, first served basis, based on the postmark of your practice ice request and receipt of payment. Pre-purchase of “qualifying round- QR” practice ice sessions will be limited to two sessions per day at the discretion of the LOC based on availability. Additional “QR” practice ice may be purchased on a “first come” basis once the competition begins. For levels with qualifying rounds first, “championship initial round- CIR” and “championship final round-CFR” practice ice will be sold at the Official Practice Ice desk after the final results (“QR” and “CIR” rounds) have been posted for each event. Skaters in events without qualifying rounds may pre-purchase CIR and CFR practice ice. The cost for practice ice that was pre-purchased prior to a post mark date of Sept. 1, 2007 was $12 per 30-minute session. As stated in the announcement, practice ice purchased after Sept. 1, 2007 is available at a rate of $15 per session. You may purchases additional practice ice on-site to the extent it is available at the Official Practice Ice Desk upon arrival and throughout the competition.
