About Louisville Skating Academy
Louisville Skating Academy is a member of U.S. Figure Skating — recognized by the International Skating Union and the International Olympic Committee as the governing body of figure skating in the United States. LSA membership ranks among the top 10% of figure skating clubs in the country.

Who We Are
Mission, Vision & Values
LSA is a member of the Eastern Great Lakes Region and Midwest Section of U.S. Figure Skating. LSA aims to have the highest quality training opportunities for its members and offers on and off ice programming throughout the entire year. LSA also facilitates test sessions, sanctioned competitions and shows, and clinics for its members and the community. LSA has more than 15 professional instructors and is recognized by the Professional Skaters Association as an Excellence on Ice facility for the quality of its coaching staff.

What We Offer
Annually, approximately 100 athletes from Kentucky and Indiana train with LSA. LSA offers year round on and off ice programming and events. Members have represented LSA in the Eastern Great Lakes Regional Championships, Midwest Sectional Championships, and U.S. Figure Skating Championships. In addition, LSA has been represented at the U.S. Junior Championships, Adult National Championships, National Solo Dance Finals, National Showcase Competition and Special Olympic Events.
Learn to Skate
Classes for beginner skaters ages 3 through adult — hockey, figure skating, and recreation. Recognized by USFS as one of the largest programs in the country, with year-round classes and adaptive skating available.

Competitive Training
LSA offers year-round competitive training with more than 15 professional instructors, recognized by the Professional Skaters Association as an Excellence on Ice facility. Members compete from regional through national level.

Synchronized Skating
An extremely popular discipline both within the U.S. and around the world. LSA fields competitive synchro teams each year. Teams have won numerous titles including Midwest Champions and U.S. National Pewter Medalists.

Community & Shows
LSA annually produces the Nutcracker on Ice, sanctioned by U.S. Figure Skating, with approximately 100 cast members ages 3 through 85 — consistently selling over 1,200 tickets. LSA also hosts Fire & Ice exhibitions featuring skaters of all ages and levels.
